the most interesting part of this movie is their power imbalance. I can't imagine a similar dynamic being executed in a straight narrative. maybe because homosexual relationships (mlm or wlw) can contain gender camaraderie in addition to love. although in this film it seems it was solely camaraderie (at least in the second half), since eugene isn't queer.
i didnt care for the hippie shit. i docked a star for the minute-long music video still of daniel craig smoking. my least favourite luca film so far. good score tho!
