2 days on and I can't remember anything other than boats, a funny looking Winston Churchill guy, a stabby sweedish bloke and lots of nazis.
It was a film, not anywhere near Guy Richie's best but it was a film that had some funny moments in it (I think)
Wouldn't watch again.
oh and there was a torture dungeon that never got used
Well... it felt like more of Dune
But I could massively feel in the pacing of the film that Paul wasn't going to be the main character forever.
it just felt so rushed, like he went from just being accepted to being the new emperor in the span of 3 hours but in such a disjointed way. it was exponential story pacing, and it didn't work.
Had some cool scenes! some awesome moments.. but I felt like such an outsider…
Honestly, this one has been a long time coming, I've been getting told to watch this for years and finally did—honestly a big surprise.
It's so much funnier and self-aware than I expected, making so many digs and jokes at other properties and fairytales in general. Matched with a banging soundtrack.
