  When I watched lady bird in cinemas, I said to my friends once it ended, I think I just watched a movie about my mum.

  Tonight I finally sat her down to watch it with me. It felt good to finally watch it with her.
  We both definitely cried. 

  We sat in silence for a good five minutes after the movie ended.

  My Mum’s review: ‘it was really good and I enjoyed it, but it hit a bit too close to home’.
