  I grew up hearing about this movie (came out when I was 9) and came in with high expectations. Perhaps I missed something? First of all, the character of Dr. Garrigan is so needlessly shoehorned in to give the viewer insight. Outside of that the movie is a meandering nothing-burger that can never decide whether it wants to be serious, black comedy, or some weird love child of the two. Very disappointed

  This had some solid potential to be a mindless action movie. But my god, the last half hour destroys that. My personal favorite were the multiple shots during the highway shootout that showed all empty cars.
