A Real Pain 2024
This was great. I do kinda feel like Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg often just play themselves… but they do it so well. The score is beautiful and pretty much exclusively Chopin, who I learned was from Warsaw, so that was a lovely choice. I just really liked this movie; it’s short and sweet and made me think and smile.

Hadn’t seen this in a while and I didn’t realize that it’s kinda just Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant looking at each other longingly the whole time. They’re both real pretty though, so I’m not complaining.
Also I was watching it with two friends who had never seen it and when it got to the “I’m just a girl” part they both gasped and looked at me cause they didn’t realize it was from this movie, so that was the best part
