The film is gorgeous, with sumptuous cinematography and beautiful costumes that live in the setting of 1952 NYC. The acting is top-notch, and the chemistry between Blanchett and Mara is sizzling.

James Caan is great, and the score is fantastic. Prosky delivered his usual slightly creepy and definitely sinister film presence. Unfortunately, I found the overall experience a bit boring and disappointing.

I love this movie more every time I watch it.  The music, the dancing, the costumes.  It’s all pitch-perfect and so much fun.

It's interesting and fun. Michael Keaton steals the show in his very first film role. He definitely showcases his comedic chops, along with some heartwarming, intimate moments.
