  The film is gorgeous, with sumptuous cinematography and beautiful costumes that live in the setting of 1952 NYC. The acting is top-notch, and the chemistry between Blanchett and Mara is sizzling.

  James Caan is great, and the score is fantastic. Prosky delivered his usual slightly creepy and definitely sinister film presence. Unfortunately, I found the overall experience a bit boring and disappointing.
