The endurance to reach a satisfying resolution and reparations for the violence experienced in a dictatorship. I’m glad I went in completely blind to this viewing. With all the news headlines it feels discouraging to see these patterns repeating themselves which leads me to think about my personal capacity for what revolutionary change looks like. Trekking my way back home until walking by the theater to see that the next showing of this film is in only 10mins. It’s 9:54 pm. My friends and I spontaneously decided that we should go and watch the damn movie. It was my first time just stumbling by a theater without the plan to go watch a movie.

This moment felt poetic for this film. Existence is so futile yet so invigorating and moments like this one make it so worthwhile. Preserve through the discomfort and chaos cause that only makes you grow.
