Inbred 2011
This thriller-horror was actually a surprising shock to me to say the least; but to praise it would only justify it being a good watch for a horror fan; otherwise, actual acting, story, and jump scares were pretty standard. Couldn’t complain in the least. But what hooked me in the beginning was how soon the first jump scare was 👀 hope you all enjoy this film.

Knock at the Cabin 2023
To be honest, it first struck me as another “Cabin in the Woods” saga of killings and twists & turns… The story was always the same and characters enacted their parts/roles as expected. I really wasn’t a fan of it until towards the end, mainly because the protagonists took forever to believe the “home invaders” which was the takeaway in the end (if you watched all the way till the end); but to be fair if it wasn’t killings convincing them…

This was honestly incredibly lame and banal attempts at horror here, which stems to feel it’s more of a psychological thriller of some sorts. The opening murders don’t even paint a good picture of a motive or anything, just senseless stabbings without much incident behind them, the lack of the classic “horror movie” stalking to build-up any kind of suspense to the antagonist (or the nun at this point if it’s not too obvious…) the ambush at her house when…
