I liked it. Chalamet is very good. The ending is unwanted, lackluster, but satisfying at the same time (in a good way). A good story and a unique biopic that doesn’t end in thunderous applause like all the rest.

The Boys in the Boat 2023
This movie wants to be so many other movies. Like is it a good story? Yes. Does it have anything unique or interesting or exciting or exceptional about it? No. Feels like Miracle, Good Will Hunting, The Greatest Game Ever Played, and Hallmark had a nepo baby. The ending was kind of exciting but I also don’t believe at any point in time people actually gave a shit about crew and they make it out to be the World Cup final.
