would have been great if ansel elgort didn’t have such dead eyes 

Ok listen the music and lyrics of this musical have no equal. The incredible lushness of it is so blindingly better than how it was acted by most of these actors (standouts I think being Rachel Zegler and Ariana DeBose). It is so beautifully shot - all the locations, choreography, costumes are so lovingly crafted. It’s a beautiful adaptation of a movie adaptation of a musical adaptation of a play.
