  Not scary, confusing.

  Lighting was good I guess? I didn’t know what’s going on maybe I’m too stupid to get it but I really don’t think so. I think it just sucks.

  2.5 hours of the joker wallowing in self pity with some pretty good songs from Lady Gaga. 

  As a diehard lover of Batman and musicals, this was right up my alley, or so I thought. The first half seemed promising! Great songs, engaging story, I liked the dichotomy between the fantasy of the singing scenes and the gritty suffering of reality. But the second half depressingly dragged on… The ending was super unsatisfying and was a disservice to the beloved character Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix built.
