If I hadn't watched "The Raid", "John Wick" or any Jackie Chan Film, I would've been in love with this film. But it just feels like a weak imitation of those films. Amazing social commentary, decent performance but some technical shortcomings, mean I couldn't be absolutely in love with this film. By the end, the action washed over me.
Also, if I hear one more speech about the cycle of violence....
