When they introduced arthur, i really thought they were gonna do the whole evil american husband that plays video games and doesn’t listen trope, so i was suprised when it didn’t go that way at all. The way I felt so deeply for every character to the point were I couldn’t root for any of them. The movie doesn’t have extravagant cinematic to make it interesting, just solid good writing. “i never thought it would hurt so much to like your husband” killed me
