Should have been made for TV. But then I would have probably enjoyed it less than watching it with a bunch of older women at an early afternoon viewing in Bologna. Their laughter made for a good accompanying sound track. Spontaneous decision on my end, buying a ticket 2 minutes before the film started with only the letterbox description and the poster to go on.

1. My dad didn't fall asleep
2. The Malta Film Commission could have afforded an interpreter so that Riondino's political messages in the Q&A would not be lost.
3. Grotesque, dark, good to see through the characterization of an idiot rather than through the point of view of the union which might have felt more rigid.
4. Was really hoping it wasn't based on a true story.
