  Loved this movie, watched it two weeks back now. Really ties together perfectly with the first one and makes both better after viewing. 

  Thing that stood out to me the most was the stellar performance by Austin Butler as Frye-Rautha. Really stole the show and was genuinely a terrifying antagonist.

  It wasn’t as horrible as expected but I wouldn’t call it amazing. Surprisingly funny at parts, but pacing wasn’t great and it definitely dragged in parts, especially the waterloo climax. Focused too much on josefine for my liking and never really acknowledged Napoleons domination of Europe. I didn’t expect historical accuracy or anything but I think I would have preferred a historical thriller rather than a romance-centered film
