Bacurau 2019
Pretty weird, and might not recommend unless someone finds their way to it on their own but the good outweighed the bad enough that I definitely enjoyed watching. Part of the appeal is that there’s so many discordant things going on...but overall it sort of felt like two movies mixed together, one of which was a lot more compelling than the other.

Nice to watch but pretty boring. Might be more novel if you have less familiarity with the Manson Family story, but then again you’d miss a lot of the references...which is kind of what this relies on for maintaining interest. Great production value but not a lot going on.
