    Apocalypse Now is a film that many could write a thesis on. It's also a fantastic way to get myself back on Letterboxd after a massive amount of time away from the site.

    What a ride - from open to close, this 2hr 50 minute epic keeps you glued to the screen.

    Walking into Birdman, I had no knowledge of Inarritu's previous work. Therefore, I went in totally blind to his direction style. I don't know if this was typical Inarritu, but the direction in this film was fantastic. Heck, this whole film was fantastic.
