  Trainspotting crossed with footloose vibes, just worse acting. Black and white makes it feel older but something about the main characters look early 2000/2010s rather than 90s. 
  The older I get the more the rebellious teen movies become a bit tedious.

  Did they really get high for the rave scene? 
  Did we need that long a race scene with nothing happening?
  Oh look police brutality who’s surprised 
  Just a movie about 2 pals last hurrah

  A Time to Kill 1996

  Such a hard watch but would highly recommend. 
  Definitely a thought provoking movie from the very start. Both Matthew McConaughey and Samuel L Jackson had stunning performances. 
  This court case captures the stark relatives of racism in the south and what a person will do to seek revenge. Throughout the movie has many touching and poignant lines and scenes hard not to get emotional. 
  I don’t think the hinted at affair was truly needed. 
  Over all it shows how divided we can be and makes me think an eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind.

  Malcolm x

  I think I could’ve had about an hour and a half cut out at least. Too long. Bit jumpy story is a little hard to follow 

  Well Malcolm is misogynistic and sexist. 

  His suits. They can’t be real. 

  Denzel was amazing great acting can’t take that away from him 

  I did loose interest about half way through and I’m still not sure if I know exactly who malcom x was and what he did. 

  Not one I’d rush back to
