    I think this movie undoubtedly has incredible acting, beautiful cinematography, and interesting themes and symbolism - all facets of what should be a 5/5 movie. Joaquin Phoenix is incredible as the titular Beau, and truly the film unsettles you as only Ari Aster can.

    But what sinks this film is despite all the ingredients, the cohesiveness and plot are frustratingly lacking. The movie is very sequential, moving plot point to plot point, and undeniably each plot point is executed well.…
