    Nosferatu

    ★★½

Disappointment. Flatter than a loli in most aspects, a simultaneously underdone and overdone textural and rhythmic hollow in which resounds the dull pasty sound of its hilariously bankrupt, shallow pandering narrative of clichés.

Silent rage against the ultimate arbitrary. Thwarted longing in thwarted belongingness. Children's legs as perpetual motion machines, children's legs write fairytales on lines drawn in the ocean.

    Getting Any?

    ★★★

Rolling on the floor hilarious first 30 minutes, nice parody of horny manchildren, and all kinds of film genres in the latter section, loved especially the skit with the Yakuza, scientist Kitano was hilarious, also special shout-out to the meherbani subtitle bit and Terajima-san for the reviving dying yakuza that shit had me dying
Zatoichi parody was mostly miss, so was the kaiju one, but overall incredible comedic experience. Need more Kitano films like this

    Boiling Point

    ★★★★

Careful not to slip on the doormat.

Water only boils at 100. Or does it?
The wish to boil at room temperature like he does.

Is anything remarkable? No stained glass here. Opaque realism. The transparency of the unremarkable.
This unremarkable restless listlessness has nothing for you or me. In an opaque world of constant vibration, sound only exists until it does not. Where is silence??

Minimalism is realism. The locus escapes. Albeit pointlessly, albeit listlessly, a bomb explodes with the negligible whimper of a dud firecracker. This is the loudest of bangs.

    I LOVE TOILETS?????
