Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 2021
Okay so the good: your actors can fight! You made some clever non-marvel jokes! The bus fight was really cool!
But: you can't have your actors really fight in the first big fight scene, kinda fight in the second, then just pretend to do fighting poses while CGI happens as the climactic battle. You've already shown us your actors can fight, why aren't you giving us that instead of giving us CGI colors flying around?

Having read Dune, watched Lynch's Dune, watched the SciFi miniseries:
Finally, a movie that lives up to the scale of the book. Paul (and the other characters) is rightfully dwarfed by the scale of the sets, creating the feel of a galactic imperium that is truly galactic in scope.
Paul: Chalamet works as Paul, but the movie removes some of the emphasis on him for large periods to instead focus on the power and politics of the imperium, which works…
