Half an hour too long, this massively slow tale crawls along at a snail's pace for the first 90 minutes. The dialogue is mumbly and the characters often poorly defined.
I love what my partner calls "films about people" and I've seen some superb LGBTQ tales on MUBI (Summer of 85 was so wonderful, I watched it a second time before it disappeared), but this represents over two hours of my life I'll never get back. Fucking hell, it's dull.
