A patiently hopeful exploration of right person wrong time. There's something so wholesome, nostalgic, and tenderly relatable about trying on the different "what ifs" of life. I love how Song captured it through Nora and Hae Sung (and, subsequently, Arthur). And in the dynamics of the three of them, we get to see a moving depiction of grace.
Favorite things: the young goodbye shot, the tension behind their stares, the "we're talking about you," the self-referential "the evil white American husband standing in the way of destiny," and gosh the ending... the immediate hug. ack im crying again brb
