I, uh... Definitely didn't see that ending coming.
I almost stopped watching about half an hour before the end because I was bored and a little frustrated with the plot. It's a very strange movie, and I'm not sure that I really liked any of the characters.
It seemed to be in the same vein as a lot of Blumhouse movies lately - especially some of the Hulu holiday horror movies. Influencer isn't what they seem, don't always assume you know who the victim is, etc.
Mostly I felt annoyed at the end. And a little frustrated, but maybe that was the point.
