i had an absolute blast while watching (late review, saw in theaters in Toronto in November); truly had me LOLing. It caught me off guard a few times which I appreciated. Yet it didn’t age as well as I’d like. I see the validity in some of the critiques of’s character and feelings / actions not fully making sense, and I also see how falling into the pursuit of the fantasy could really happen to her. idk, worth a watch at a minimum!

i’m surprised and bummed about how much i disliked this movie. a flick about underdog lesbos starting a fight club that’s constantly poking fun at toxic masculinity and ESPECIALLY in football? sounds like my mf DREAM. yet this flick just totally missed the mark for me.
definitely a few funny one liners, but the majority of the humor felt way too spelled out, try-hard, and unintelligible (in nooooot the fun way).
