Wow. Along with Tunes of Glory, this blew me away and told me I should be less quick to dismiss military movies. Leads were all great especially Bryan Brown. I'll always love a slightly eccentric ne'er-do-well.
Great court drama and a much better indictment of the death penalty than In Cold Blood which I felt rang a bit hollow.
Shows the extent to which the Boer War was the beginning of modern warfare even before World War I. Going to have to get a copy of this one.
