A couple months ago I had an hour long Uber ride at 2 am and my driver was watching this movie on his phone. He did almost hit a couple deers but other than that I was enjoying tf out of this film. Sadly I had to get out when it started getting good. Completely forgot about the movie until today when I started watching it and I promptly fell asleep. Pretty good!

It was good… just like every other boxing movie.

I’ve seen this movie several times and it gets better every time. I love the use of pictures in this film. I love how bad Steve Carell’s hair is. The writing is sharp, the banter between the characters is so well done, and those sudden fourth-wall breaks make the whole movie feel unique. It’s what makes it so fun to watch, even while tackling such a heavy topic.”

I love the vagueness of this movie. Shows how war can be in our backyard. It’s a roadtrip movie that shows the brutality of war without being overly graphic. Also AH-64E :)
