Black Bag 2025
Great compact little spy thriller, bringing more tension from just dialogue than most get from throwing heaps of action at a screen for two hours. Everyone in it are great, the dialogue is strong, the pacing is tight, good stuff.
My main issue with it is that a few of characters feel pretty one dimensional (through the way they’ve been written more than the performances), which did make it slightly hard to engage with some of them. Also some of the logic is pretty tenuous.
But for the most part, really good.
