  I watched this with a bunch of friends in discord. It kept pause buffering. By the film’s end I was 15+ minutes behind. It can’t be understated how nightmarish this made this experience. Every minute watching became a bizarre and surreal exercise in attempting to digest what I was currently viewing and anticipating whatever else was coming my way based on my friends’ reactions. It was like being stuck in a creative fight or flight for 2 hours and 18 minutes. 

  All I know for sure is this movie was badddddddddddd, man.

  There are two important lessons to be gleaned from the tragic gothic love story of Nosferatu:

  1.) You never skip leg day

  I admire the commitment to the vibe and aesthetic and I’m really excited about the ramifications of something like this making it to theaters. However, there is simply no justifying the length of this movie to me. What could have been a very effective short on YouTube for 10-12 minutes frankly feels like a complete and unnecessary slog at 100. It often just feels like a feedback-less Rorschach test.
