    I can discuss the themes and politics of this film, but it hinges on a central performance so much, that I would talk about it. Sophie Thatcher's timing makes this film.

    As a comedy, it passes the 6 laughs test.

    People kept referring to Die Hard, but it has more in common with 1993 Johnny Depp thriller, Nick of Time. Like that film, the plot becomes more and more outlandish as the time goes on.

    Not a complete wet fart like the rest of Netflix' catalog.

    I guess standards for blockbusters are so low that any allusions to high-culture are hailed as a revelation. What does Logan do right that the much-maligned 2016 Angsty Superhero future-classic Batman v Superman did wrong? Nothing.
