  What a shame.

  Just to be clear, I rate this 5 stars because I love the movie so much and I sincerely feel like this is one of the best Indonesian movies I've ever watched. Based on the substance itself, this movie is necessary to be seen and studied everywhere, but there's no denying that all the controversy behind the co-writer (now uncredited), HENRICUS PRIA, who is accused of sexual assault, changed the whole meaning of this movie 180 degrees.…

  The whole Conjuring universe found dead in the ditch of Thailand.

  The Medium has the style and atmosphere of The Wailing, with a substance of The Conjuring and Hereditary, and is told in a way like Gonjiam. Incredibly enticing and terrifying at the same time.

  This one starts pretty slow, the mockumentary style might throw off some audience. But after 40 minutes in, the Medium kicks off non-stop and you're in for one hell of a ride to the finale.…
