  Olivia Colman is one of my favourite actresses & she does not disappoint in this role. She plays the chronically unwell, weak minded & lonely Queen Anne brilliantly.
  Amazing costuming & sets reflecting the period. 
  Ruthless rivalries both within the court & also the government. 
  Full of deceit & intrigue.

  An odd little movie but I didn’t dislike it. 
  A twelve year old girl trying to be strong & make sense of her poverty stricken dysfunctional family & life in the UK. Coming of age in a harsh environment. 
  I loved the symbolism of the birds as escape, as freedom & even as protection & safety.
