Olivia Colman is one of my favourite actresses & she does not disappoint in this role. She plays the chronically unwell, weak minded & lonely Queen Anne brilliantly.
Amazing costuming & sets reflecting the period.
Ruthless rivalries both within the court & also the government.
Full of deceit & intrigue.

Bird 2024
An odd little movie but I didn’t dislike it.
A twelve year old girl trying to be strong & make sense of her poverty stricken dysfunctional family & life in the UK. Coming of age in a harsh environment.
I loved the symbolism of the birds as escape, as freedom & even as protection & safety.Translated from by

Saving Private Ryan 1998
Been a few years since I watched this & it lost nothing in the passage of time.
What unflinching horror the opening scenes of the D
-Day invasion show us. A massacre. Hell on earth depicted.
Top quality casting & acting. One is drawn into all the different personalities & situations.
Moving. Epic.Translated from by -
Heretic 2024
Interesting movie. Compels us to consider choice, control, ideology & belief systems from an unusual standpoint.
Not Hugh Grants typical role but he carries it off spectacularly. Who knew evil lurked beneath that calm & intelligent manner….
Unfortunately I felt the ending descended into unnecessary rushed & disconnected generic horror scenes…could have been so much more.Translated from by
