Exactly my kind of movie. Flys by even while almost hitting 3 hrs. Some of the best acting Ive seen. Beautifully shot. Very thought provoking ideas about desire and relationships and power and all their intersections. The pacing here is phenomenal (though it might just be the amazing acting that keeps me engaged). Seeing all the diners and cafes makes me really hate the corporatized city i live in, as a side note. Really good soundtrack. Every aspect of this movie just fits together perfectly.

My sex cult would be good though.

Visually amazing and a phenomenal soundtrack. Past some parts I had no clue what was going on but it was still incredibly gripping. Really gets its stride in though I think the opening is a bit rough even past how its purposeful surrealism. And its even funny sometimes. Everything being consumed into the shallow superficial veneers and spectacle of consumerism and greed. Even enlightenment. What we think we desire and our superficial attempts at achieving that. The themes are there…

Perhaps one of the best looking movies ive seen. Electric, immediately gripping, funny, even if the commentary can be a little overdone in 2025. Incredibly stacked cast. The sets and props are absolutely wild and beautiful. It just keeps getting better the longer you watch it. Still is a rather good view of the crushing numbness of bureaucracy snd capital. Life changing movie. Wonderful mix of genres and moods and themes that when looking back feels like far too much…

Robert you've done it again. Phenomenal on all fronts, Orlok is absolutely one of the best vampires put to screen. His voice and heavy footsteps and every display of just how powerful he is is seared into my brain. Stunning and unique cinematography. Both a fresh interpretation and familiar. Every shot is beautiful. The acting is perfectly theatrical and Gothic (whatever that means to you). My eyes were glued to the screen the whole time. Excellent pacing, not a moment wasted and not a moment rushed. Fantastic on all fronts. I am appetite, nothing more.
