  i loved this film when i was a teenager, i recently rewatched it in my 30s joel is a neurotic pushover and clementine is wholly unlikable 2 insufferable hipsters fall in love and erase one another out of pettiness and an inability to communicate their issues.
  watch Being John Malkovich or Adaptation instead.
