    Anyone expecting anything on the level of Parasite will be disappointed. I figured this would be more similar to Okja or Snowpiercer and I was correct! It’s Hollywood-Bong at his best. I find his critical analysis of neo-techno-serfdom to be somewhat surface level here. Rpatz delivers. I had fun.

    Watched this after studying for several hours and a glass of wine on a flight which added to the experience greatly I think. 

    Apart from the technicalities of the film which.. WOW. It is so dream-like almost in the camera movements, I audibly gasped twice just at how things *looked*. This film is so American from the Cowboy narrative, the alienation Travis experiences, his ‘apoliticism’, subsequent radicalization and ill-informed vigilantism. Then he makes something that is Shinzo Abe doohickey adjacent and crashes out with a sick Mohawk
