  this movie is pretty heartbreaking. it’s a sad tale with an even sadder ending. the most decorated sniper in the country’s history yet each kill affected him seemingly more than the last - i’ll have to reach on the inaccuracies and such but this was cool

  the performances make this movie spectacular. i don’t think this movie would be so great if it weren’t for daniel day lewis. 

  the story is beautifully constructed and keeps you engaged with a two and a half hour film. there are few films that are able to do that well. 

  the scenes w ddl capture so much raw emotion that is a universal human experience; no matter if we’re discussing our children or milkshakes. 

  very well done and i’m looking forward to watching this again someday

  i didn’t really love this as i was watching it … until the twist. i saw it coming in some aspects, but i think i appreciate this movie more than i truly enjoyed it. i do love a good leo movie and he shined in this, but i wasn’t digging the exposition until about an hour in. once i realized this movie was gonna get better i was settled in. solid movie
