I really enjoy mind-numbing dumb action movies as well as deep, thought-provoking movies. Not sure what that makes me.

I dunno man, it just didn’t do it for me. Lots of good laughs, but the meta-ness lost me a lot. Loved the alien though.

The Boy and the Heron 2023
Really enjoyed this one. Felt like an adaptation of an old classic like Alice and Wonder Land or Wizard of Oz with all the classic characters like the Parakeet King and the fire lady. But in this case, the source material was just Miyazaki’s incredible imagination. Feel lucky to be have been able to witness such artistry and wonder.
