This movie made me be annoyed by John Belcuhi more than I already was. It was kind of an unnecessary film that really went nowhere and over-dramatized something that didn't need to be like that. I did however enjoy and appreciate that they showed the importance of rosie shuster in the formation of SNL's magic.

Cuckoo 2024
The best thing about Cuckoo was re-discovering the French electropop band Martin Dupont. Sure, it was visually interesting, and Hunter Schafer did her best to hold it together, but the film’s attempt to be a weird Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Donnie Darko fell flat. Instead, it ended up feeling absolutely stupid—style over substance in the worst way.

Heaven and Earth Magic 1962
What a wonderful film experience. Watching it you can see the influence Harry E. Smith has on animation (especially Terry Gilliam). I just wish I could have seen it live with Flying Lotus doing the score, because that would have been awesome!
