    Some quick thoughts after just watched this wonderful gem.

    -A truly delightful view of a world populated by working class people. The treatment is respectful, tender, sympathetic, honest. Not only the Vaudeville world and petty criminals are fairly depicted, but also policemen, journalists, taxi-drivers, waitress, cloakroom attendants and photographers among others.
