American Warships 2012
I went into American Warships expecting a total battleship ripoff, and was actually pleasantly surprised that they chose to rip off other material too. Obviously being a mockbuster, it must still be compared to Battleship, and so we shall.
First of all, the special effects are incredible, by which i mean incredible just how bad they are can be, which is to be expected from any asylum movie.

Star Slammer 1986
Star Slammer is a spectacular family friendly comedy movie. Okay, so maybe not family friendly, but it is certainly comedic. The engrossing tale of Taura as she plans a daring escape from the Prison Ship Vehemence and its sadistic, albeit very sexy, prison warden.
Shot on a shoestring budget so low they apparently couldn't afford proper clothing for most of the prisoners, oops, the movie still successfully tells a coherent and thrilling story, at least some of the time. And who doesn't like being tortured by space leeches?
Is it cheesy? Absolutely. Does it know its cheesy? Also yes, and that's what makes it great.Translated from by
