Not as good as Rush Hour 1 but still a solid film that can stand on its own. 

The Karaoke scene in the beginning is one of the best to come out of the series.

One of my favorites and a true classic

They accidentally made a cool cosmic horror concept in between a mid romance plot.

I’m not some kind of romance hater but the opposing force soldiers falling in love is meh. The most interesting parts revolve around a mystery which overshadows the romance making you wish you could skip to the next story progression. The payoff ended up being lackluster since the romance had to come first. 

This could’ve been like Annihilation levels of good if the romance wasn’t the main focus and the sci-fi took over a bigger part.

I hate the found footage/self filming style this film takes but that just a personal preference. 

My only gripe with the whole film is an artistic choice that isn’t for me. The rest of the story is amazing.

A top tier buddy cop film.
