It did not disappoint like I thought it was going to, but every problem I expected to have I still did in a way. To preface I did like it, I loved almost everything about it but the things that rubbed me the wrong way really did.

I don’t like describing things as “dreamlike” most of the time, as I really don’t think things that get that descriptor deserve it. This however left me feeling the exact same emotions I have after waking up from a vivid nightmare. The handheld camera forces you to be there through it all, forcing you into the dream. It really is something else, although I can imagine it’s not for everyone, very little clarity on what’s happening but it doesn’t feel nonsensical. There is a through-line but what exactly it is I can’t say, although I don’t think it really matters.
