Nosferatu 2024
This movie has set an impossibly high bar for 2025—I doubt I’ll see anything better this year. There’s little more to say at this point, as I firmly believe that analyzing films benefits from the passage of time. A truly meaningful critique of such a groundbreaking piece of art requires more than the first five months to take shape.
That said, I can comment on the elements I’m familiar with and that Eggers has masterfully incorporated into Nosferatu:

V/H/S/Beyond 2024
Highly entertaining! Like all V/H/S movies, it’s a hit or miss. For me – given I don’t particularly like alien movies – most of these shorts were misses. However, I must highlight that those shorts that were “hits” hit HARD.
I enjoy these anthologies better when the core movie, which is the centrepiece of the film, is cohesive and related to the rest in plot. At hand, this short sets the tone, but is not really related to the rest…
