  A masterclass in action filmmaking. There’s not a million cuts in 7 seconds, you get to SEE the action unfold. Ansel Elgort was incredible and I bet the vibes during production were amazing. AND THAT SOUNDTRACK.

  This is just one of those movies where no matter what your taste is, you can’t help but notice the heart in it. Every line of dialogue in this is wonderfully written and the line delivery in every scene is just so heartfelt. There’s something to be said about actors who truly understand the script, and every actor in this was meant to be in this. What a great flick. Make more movies like this! You can make a film…

  Absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t recommend enough. I’d be surprised if Mikey Madison didn’t win an Oscar for this. Great laughs, utterly compelling protagonist, and just simply a spectacle. 

  Made me really want to watch The Florida Project. Definitely just bumped it up on my watchlist. 

  There was just too many wides in my opinion, especially WIDE wides. This and the complete tonal shifts (although they work out in the end and are ultimately for the better) just completely took me out.

  Nashville 1975

  I went into this thinking I was gonna get punched square in the face and lethally injected with a lot of nostalgia, some strong performances and some fun moments interspersed with some nice country and folk tunes. While I’m happy to say that all of that is here, I’m also happy to say that this was really fucking good. 

  This perfectly captures the spirit of America in a way that I didn’t expect it to. There’s so many moving parts…
