Thoughts while watching: This feels very 2012
Puts in letterboxd review: I was rightStill one of the more solid book adaptations out there. Super edgy at times and then I remember this is a world that conscripts children to fight to the death and it makes sense again. The chopping editing, earthquake camera shaking and cgi still annoys me. Just hold the shot a little longer in some places, please.
