Real Life 1979
This was hilarious. I’ve been an Albert Brooks fan since my childhood but somehow never found my way to this one until now. Really a hallmark of late 70s comedy and a sort of premonition of where our culture would eventually wind up. The Wild Robot 2024
It was cute! There are definitely some deeper themes acknowledged, and some worthwhile jokes and exciting sequences. I think I was just hoping it might explore its concepts a little further, or surprise us with some conflict or dilemma that was more interesting than fighting off anonymous robot bad guys.

I thought this was pretty fun to watch, with some impressive set pieces. But idk it kind of felt like the Mini Cooper company made this movie. Or the British govt. Like I’m a little mystified as to how this all came together.
