    I went into this with low expectations, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the first half of the film with its intriguing set up turning into a meet-cute between two snipers across a vast gorge. I thought Taylor-Joy and Teller played off each other nicely (even the amusing nods to their most noteworthy roles in The Queen’s Gambit and Whiplash, respectively).
