  Alice in Wonderland meets Pans Labyrinth meets Inception meets Bleach... Tumbling down Miyazaki 's bewildering and otherworldly rabbithole was a true pleasure - from cake dressing, carnivorous parakeets to studio Ghibli's classic Kodama-esque creatures, this film commits to a narrative free fall and it does so excellently, as you never know where you might end up next. I can't give it 5 stars though, that shit's reserved for Princess Mononoke and the like.
