Jeremy Strong deserved more buzz for this performance. Powerfully devastating, you hate him and everything he represents yet cannot control the pity and sorrow summoned up by the end of his performance as Roy Cohn. Maria Bakalova too, only 28 years old but her poise and ability to standout amongst so many strong performances belies a maturity usually reserved for much later in one’s career. She deserved much more recognition too.
Incredibly disappointing given what’s happened regarding Ali Abbias as I genuinely felt he gave us one of the best biopics we’ve seen in these past few biopic saturated years. Art imitates life I suppose
